The recording of my discussion of the first mention of "Lithuania" on a map known today
Updated: 1 day ago
Is this 1311 "Letoini pagani" the first mention on a map known today?

1311 (published for the first time in 1611 by Bongars) ("Map of the World") by Pietro Vesconte
Or is it this 1321 Vesconte with "Letoini pagani"?

1321 Pietro Vesconte ("Map of the World") published by Sanudo
Or is it this 1325 "Litefania est paganos”?

1325 Angelino Dulcert/Dalorte "Europa" portolan, from images made 1929 by the Royal Geographic Society, from the collection of Prince Orsini of Florence (A big "Thank You!" to Arv Jarasius, a blog subscriber, for pointing me to this map)
Consider the evidence I presented online February 26 at a virtual event hosted by the International Map Collectors' Society. Here is the link to the recording, which will ask you for the passcode: 5+K??0Q. (You must include the period!)
It's a two-hour session: my piece begins at 1:21:55
